Description
Under the guidance of legendary Master Distiler Boli Walker, the team has implemented a philosophy of wood innovation, sourcing the very best casks from across the world and constantly influencing the maturation journey.
From amongst the 50,000 casks maturing across our 16 warehouses, billy hand selects a small batch for our single cask series. With an exceptional passion for wood policy, billy closely monitors the development of the whisky until he deems that the perfect balance between distillery character and influence from the wood has been achieved.
We proudly present this bottling at natural colour, non chill filtered and at cask strength to showcase Glenallachie in its purest form.
COLOR: Bronze Sunrise
NOSE: Bursting with lemon zest, liquorice and honeycomb, with notes of butterscotch, nutmeg and sandalwood.
TASTE: Layers of milk chocolate, candy sugar syrup and orange, followed by liquorice and heather honey, with hints of nutmeg and soft spice on the finish.

This was a nice pickup from Red Liquors. The GlenAllachie 2010 Single Cask 12 Year Old Chinquapin Cask #4553 had enough flavor to stand out, especially the chocolate, but still stayed balanced and easy to drink.
