Description
Limited edition bourbon comes from teaming up with Catskill Mountain Sugarhouse. We send used bourbon barrels to the sugarhouse. We send used bourbon barrels to the sugerhouse, who fills them with Grade A organic maple syrup. After a few months aging, the contents are than bottled as our bourbon Barrel Maple Syrup.
Colour : Copper to dark amber with hints of deeply candied fruit.
Aromas : Sweet, butterscotch, maple syrup, vanilla with hints of deeply candied fruit.
Taste : Vanilla, caramel and a back palate of delicate maple syrup sweetness.
Finish : Warm and pepper with lingering notes of maple syrup.

This was a nice pickup from Red Liquors. Taconic Distillery Double Barrel Maple Bourbon Whiskey had enough flavor to stand out, especially the vanilla, but still stayed rounded and easy to drink. The flavor stayed consistent from the first glass to the last.
