Puntagave Double Barrel Tequila Añejo Ceramic is a limited-edition masterpiece from Compania Tequilera Hacienda La Capilla in Capilla de Guadalupe, Jalisco, Mexico, crafted by Maestro Tequilero Guillermo Barroso Arnaud. Made from 100% Blue Weber agave sourced from the highlands, this tequila undergoes a two-step aging process. It first rests for one year in used American oak barrels, then splits into two batches: half matures for another year in new American oak Nadalie Symphony toast barrels, while the other half ages in new French oak Nadalie Expression Rouge barrels from the Allier forest. Double distilled in 120-year-old copper stills, only the heart of the distillation is used, ensuring purity. Bottled at 82 proof (41% ABV) in a handmade ceramic decanter—a collaboration with Mexican artist COCOLVU—this release of just 500 numbered bottles allows the spirit to evolve over time, enhancing its smooth, rich profile.
