With our 10-year Old Elk Straight Wheat Whiskey, Master Distiller, Greg Metze, adapted a set of techniques he honed through distilling many millions of gallons of rye whiskey. The 95% soft red winter wheat mashbill that has matured in barrels for a decade, now held in this bottle, sets the standard for what a Wheat Whiskey should be. 10 years of aging maximizes the rich and refined attributes of the wheat and draws out the complexities and subtleties that only time can develop.
