Origin and Craftsmanship: Sourced from the historic Kilranelagh Estate in County Wicklow, renowned for its meticulously managed native Irish woodland by the Westerholt family, this edition pays homage to the natural beauty and heritage of Ireland. The selection of Irish oak for maturation marks a tribute to sustainable woodland management and the desire to preserve the legacy of these magnificent trees.
Masterful Maturation: Under the watchful eye of Master Distiller Kevin O’Gorman and Blender David McCabe, this whiskey has undergone a careful aging process in virgin Irish oak casks, sourced from the Kilranelagh Estate. The chosen casks, crafted from six distinct Irish oak trees, encapsulate a blend of Single Pot Still whiskeys aged between fifteen to twenty-eight years, initially matured in American oak barrels. The meticulous process and two-year maturation in Irish oak have culminated in a whiskey that perfectly balances tradition and innovation.
