40% ABV | 100% Blue Weber Agave | Aged in American & French Oak | Additive-Free
El Tequileño Añejo Gran Reserva is a refined, barrel-aged tequila that exemplifies the craftsmanship and tradition of Jalisco’s Highlands. Crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the mineral-rich soils surrounding the town of Tequila, the agave is harvested at peak maturity and cooked using traditional methods to release its natural sweetness.
After double distillation, the tequila is aged for over 18 months in a combination of American oak and French oak barrels, allowing it to develop a layered, rich profile. The French oak imparts notes of spice and structure, while the American oak adds smooth vanilla and soft caramel, resulting in a complex yet harmonious sipping tequila.
Nose: Roasted agave, vanilla bean, oak spice, and toasted almonds.
Palate: Velvety and full-bodied with flavors of caramelized agave, honey, dried fruit, and soft baking spice.
Finish: Long and elegant with lingering notes of oak, sweet agave, and cinnamon.
Aged Over 18 Months: Rested in both American and French oak barrels for enhanced complexity.
100% Blue Weber Agave: Harvested at full maturity from the Highlands of Jalisco.
Dual Oak Maturation: Combines the sweetness of American oak with the spice of French oak.
Legacy Brand: Produced at La Guarreña Distillery, founded in 1959 by Don Jorge Salles Cuervo.
Sipping-Grade Tequila: Smooth and refined enough to be enjoyed neat or with a single ice cube.
Enjoy El Tequileño Añejo Gran Reserva neat or with a large cube to explore its full range of flavors. It also makes an exceptional base for a premium Añejo Old Fashioned or a luxurious sipping Margarita. Pair with dark chocolate, roasted nuts, or grilled meats for a full sensory experience.

Rachel Jones –
The agave character came through nicely. I picked up El Tequileno Tequila Anejo Gran Reserva for a small get-together and it went over well. The oak and agave notes stood out most to me, with a finish that felt mellow. I would keep this around for a casual night at home.
