The distinctive golden color and buttery, oak aroma of Don Pilar’s Añejo comes as a result of aging his tequila in virgin American White Oak barrels. Our master distillers insist on serenading the must with Baroque music during the 200 hours of fermentation to coax the conversion from sugar-to-alcohol. Don Pilar grows his agave on five private ranches in the Highlands of Jalisco near the town of San José de Gracia. Don Pilar Repo goes great both ways. Serve it neat in an old-fashioned glass or mix it up in your favorite cocktail.

This was a nice pickup from Red Liquors. Don Pilar Reposado Tequila had enough flavor to stand out, especially the oak, but still stayed clean and easy to drink. I would keep this around for a casual night at home.
