Benriach The Sixteen Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky: After 16 years of maturation, this exquisite whisky showcases the richly balanced evolution of Benriach’s signature Speyside style. The triple cask maturation process, involving bourbon, sherry, and virgin oak casks, imparts a symphony of flavors to the whisky. This intricate maturation results in a multifaceted profile featuring layers of stone fruit, smooth creamy malt, wild honey, and nutty oak spice.
Each element of the three-cask maturation contributes uniquely: bourbon casks bring a mellow sweetness, sherry casks add depth and richness, and virgin oak casks offer a fresh, spicy complexity.
