Description
This selection is an excellent option at any moment, particularly as a post-dinner dram, and pairs exceptionally well with a delightful assortment of cheeses. 100 Proof (50% ABV).
The Arran Single Malt included in this offering initially matures in traditional oak casks for approximately 8 years before undergoing a finishing process in a selection of Port casks. These casks are sourced from a skilled producer of the renowned Portuguese fortified wine.
The maturation process is meticulously overseen by a Master Distiller, ensuring that the Port casks and the inherent character of The Arran Single Malt form a harmonious partnership. The resulting combination offers abundant charm and rich flavor, serving as a wonderful introduction to the Arran range of Single Malts.

This scotch had a nice steady character. I served it chilled and it opened up nicely. The oak was pleasant, the vanilla gave it some depth, and the finish stayed clean.
