This was a nice pickup from Red Liquors. Cooperstown Select American Blended Whiskey had enough flavor to stand out, especially the oak, but still stayed balanced and easy to drink.

This bourbon was smooth without feeling flat. I picked up Redemption 9 Years Aged Barrel Proof Bourbon for a small get-together and it went over well. The oak and vanilla notes stood out most to me, with a finish that felt easygoing.

Really liked this one. High West Rendezvous Rye Whiskey felt balanced from the first pour, with a good mix of spice and vanilla. It is the kind of bottle I would keep around for weekends.

This bottle had a good, honest flavor. Handy & Schiller Barreled Manhattan Cocktail was not harsh, and the spice plus balanced notes made it feel a little more special than a basic pick. Friends asked what it was, which is always a good sign.

Branson Royal V.S.O.P. Cognac | 50 Cent Cognac worked exactly how I needed it to. Smooth enough to drink casually, but flavorful enough that the smooth and spice did not get lost. Happy with it. It made a good impression without feeling overdone.
