Selected Oloroso sherry barrels serve to enhance the character of Doc Swinson’s Exploratory Cask La Mente Oloroso Sherry Finish Bourbon, part 2 of 3 in the Alter Ego Triple Cask Bourbon series. As the initial cask finish expression from Doc Swinson’s, it truly sparked the journey! The name LA MENTE, or “The Mind” in Spanish, is aptly chosen as it brings complexity and brightness to the Alter Ego Triple Cask Bourbon. The Oloroso Sherry imparts subtle nuances of roasted nuts, spices, and orange peel. This exclusive single-finish version presents an opportunity to savor one of the superior individual components at blender’s strength. With limited production, it is indeed a one-off release.
